Comparison
Load planning software, compared
Four comparisons against the tools people actually weigh us against, each one written from the competitor’s own published pages on a stated date.
Every product on this list is a real product with real customers, and several of them beat us at something — each page says where, in the table, rather than in a footnote. The figures come from each vendor’s own published pricing and product pages, checked on 15 August 2026. We use their names to say which product is being compared and for nothing else. If something here is out of date, tell us and we will correct it.
The comparisons
- 3DBinPacking alternativeNo free tier — but genuinely cheaper than us at high API volume
- packVol alternativeWindows desktop software — but it works offline, and we do not
- EasyCargo alternativeTen-day trial, registration first — but a deeper product with a longer track record
- Cargo-Planner alternativeBroader equipment library than ours, including air ULDs and out-of-gauge cargo
All four, side by side
The four rows that differ most. The detail, and the concessions, are on each page.
| Product | Free tier | Published pricing | Plain-English input | Runs on |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 3DPACK.ING | 10/month, forever, no card | Yes | Yes | Browser |
| 3DBinPacking | 14-day trial only | Yes | No | Browser |
| packVol | Free trial, fully functional | No — on request | No | Windows |
| EasyCargo | 10-day trial, registration first | Yes | No | Browser |

Four columns cannot settle a choice. Each comparison page carries the rest, including where the other product wins.
