A CargoWiz alternative with no install and no trial clock
CargoWiz — now published by Softtruck — is Windows software with a 30-day full-featured trial. This page is for people who want a load planner that runs anywhere and does not stop after a month.
Ten calculations a month, free, no card — and you can run one before signing in.

Why people look
The thirty days end. A full-featured trial is a good way to evaluate a tool and a poor way to use one twice a quarter, which is how often most people plan a load. When the clock runs out there is no smaller tier to drop into, so the tool gets abandoned rather than bought.
The machine. It is Windows software, installed per PC. Every Mac in the building is outside it, so is a tablet on a warehouse floor, and so is the colleague who needs to see the plan but does not have it installed.
And the input. CargoWiz takes cargo through a grid and an Excel import template. That is fine when the data is already a spreadsheet and slow when it arrived as a sentence in an email — which is our whole input method.
Where CargoWiz is the better choice
It runs offline, and a desktop application keeps working in the yards, ports and warehouses where a browser tool simply stops. Its trial is also genuinely full-featured for those thirty days, with nothing held back — that is a more generous evaluation than our free tier, which caps at one container per calculation. If you need every feature for a month to make a decision, take their trial.
Moving over
There is nothing to migrate and nothing to install. Open the planner, paste or type the load, and you have a plan. If the items already live in a spreadsheet, Excel import on Pro takes the sheet as it is.

Questions
Is there a time limit on the free tier?
No. Ten calculations every month, no card, indefinitely — and you can run one before signing in at all.
Do I need to install anything?
No. It runs in the browser on any operating system, and there is nothing to install for the person you send the plan to either.
Can I import the spreadsheet I already use?
Yes, on Pro — Excel import, and export back to Excel or PDF.
What happens to my plans if I stop paying?
They stay. Saved calculations remain readable on the free tier; you drop back to ten new ones a month rather than losing what you have already done.
