Why people look
For occasional load planning, a one-off purchase can be easier to justify than a subscription. Our $9 pack includes 25 calculations and the credits do not expire. Preview your shipment before buying.
The machine. It is Windows software, installed per PC. Every Mac in the building is outside it, so is a tablet on a warehouse floor, and so is the colleague who needs to see the plan but does not have it installed.
And the input. CargoWiz takes cargo through a grid and an Excel import template. That is fine when the data is already a spreadsheet and slow when it arrived as a sentence in an email — which is our whole input method.
Where CargoWiz is the better choice
It runs offline, and a desktop application keeps working in the yards, ports and warehouses where a browser tool simply stops. Its trial is also genuinely full-featured for those thirty days, with nothing held back — that is a more generous evaluation than our free tier, which withholds the complete custom result. If you need every feature for a month to make a decision, take their trial.
Moving over

Questions
Is there a time limit on the free tier?
Examples and custom previews are free, with ten previews a month for new accounts. Full custom results unlock with a $9 pack of 25 calculations, or a subscription. Existing accounts retain their previous free allowance.
Do I need to install anything?
No. It runs in the browser on any operating system, and there is nothing to install for the person you send the plan to either.
Can I import the spreadsheet I already use?
Yes. Excel import is available for previews. Exporting to Excel and printing a full report require paid access, through a credit pack with remaining credits or a subscription. You can save a printed report as a PDF in your browser.
What happens to my plans if I stop paying?
Unlocked and previously saved plans remain readable. After paid access ends, new custom calculations return previews; full new results require credits or a subscription.
