Why people look
Ten days, and then a decision. The trial format assumes load planning is a thing you are adopting; for a lot of people it is a thing they do twice a quarter. There is no plan shaped for that, so the tool gets abandoned rather than bought.
Registration before the first plan is the other one. EasyCargo’s own page, titled “Free container loading calculator online for 10 days!”, asks for an account before you can calculate anything, and notes that sign-ups via VPN or free email domains are subject to additional verification before the trial activates. That is a reasonable anti-abuse measure and it is also friction in front of somebody who just wants to know whether their pallets fit.
And the input. Everything starts as a form. If the load arrived as a sentence in an email, retyping it into fields is the slowest part of the job.
Where EasyCargo is the better choice
They have depth we do not: a longer feature list, more years in the market, a published customer roster and a support organisation sized to match. If you are rolling a load planner out to a large team and want an established vendor with references you can call, that is a real argument and we are not going to pretend otherwise.
